Santa Ana City Councilmember Johnathan Hernandez Endorses Tracy La
Santa Ana City Councilmember Johnathan Ryan Hernandez, whose district includes the Santa Anita neighborhood in northwest Santa Ana, has endorsed Tracy La in the race for Trustee Area 4 of the Garden Grove Unified School District.
“Tracy La has a long history of working alongside Latino and Vietnamese communities and building solidarity across our neighborhoods in West Santa Ana,” Hernandez said. “Many of the students and families I represent are part of the Garden Grove Unified School District community, and Tracy’s work on immigrant rights, housing justice, and uplifting working families reflects the issues that matter to both of our communities.”
Hernandez represents Ward 5 on the Santa Ana City Council. As Councilmember, Hernandez has fought to expand
“Councilmember Hernandez is a proven fighter for Santa Ana’s working families who has championed project labor agreements, advocated alongside residents for rent stabilization, supported expanding our local library, and helped bring more park space to northwest Santa Ana,” Tracy La said. “I’m proud to have his endorsement as we continue to work together to deliver for families in the Santa Anita neighborhood.”
Tracy La is a nonprofit director and county housing commissioner running to represent Trustee Area 4 on the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) Board of Education.
GGUSD Trustee Area 4 covers neighborhoods in west Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Westminster, and Garden Grove.
